This new lighthouse, built on the site of its predecessor that was destroyed in 1957 during World War II, currently has limited access. However, after further renovations, it will be fully open to visitors next year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The lighthouse, a striking red and white concrete tower, stands 31 metres tall with its beacon reaching 35 metres above sea level. It continues to operate year-round, guiding maritime traffic with its persistent light.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Mayor <b>Maksim Ilyin<\/b> remarked in an <a href=\"https:\/\/news.err.ee\/1609407922\/narva-joesuu-to-open-lighthouse-to-tourists-from-august-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">interview with ERR<\/span><\/span><\/a>&nbsp;that the view from the Narva-J\u00f5esuu lighthouse is unique.
