The event welcomes you to experience the essence of Estonian folk music and culture amidst the picturesque landscapes of Hiiumaa. The festival has proudly remained alcohol-free since it began in 2007, creating a welcoming environment that&#8217;s perfect for families and mindful of the environment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The festival kicks off on Thursday, July 18, at S\u00f5ru Boatshed with a heartfelt opening ceremony featuring performances by local musicians and the K\u00e4rdla Church Chamber Choir.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Friday offers a chance to explore the island&#8217;s natural beauty with guided nature hikes and engaging workshops at Kassari Community Centre. Music enthusiasts can participate in singing workshops with <strong>Anu Taul<\/strong>, learn the art of playing the Jewish harp with <strong>C\u00e4tlin M\u00e4gi<\/strong>, and enjoy traditional Estonian folk songs with <strong>Valter Parve<\/strong>.
