According to recent data released by Statistics Estonia, there was a significant rise in the number of foreign tourists staying in accommodation establishments in the country<\/span> in March 2024. The data indicates a 14 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n \u201cCompared with March 2023, there were 14 per cent more foreign tourists, but their number was still 7 per cent smaller than in March 2019 before the pandemic\u201d, explained Helga Laurmaa<\/b>, a leading analyst at Statistics Estonia.<\/p>\n In March, the highest numbers of foreign visitors arrived from Finland (44,000) and Latvia (25,100). There were also more tourists arriving from Lithuania, Germany and the United Kingdom.
