The Ma ei saa aru art festival (I don\u2019t understand in English) will be held for the fourth time in Telliskivi’s Creative Centre this week \u2013 May 9-11. This year, the event focuses on fashion. There will be various workshops, tours, and panel discussions.<\/p>\n

As part of the festival, an exhibition dedicated to contemporary fashion entitled – Re_form_aktsioon – will be opened, where the creations of twenty young fashion artists from both Estonia and Finland will be on show.<\/p>\n

On the opening day, Thursday, May 9, Roberta Einer<\/b>, Antonio aka Aivar L\u00e4tt<\/b> and Marit Ilison<\/b> will discuss the topic – I don’t understand – what is fashion?<\/p>\n

On Friday and Saturday, the discussions will continue by considering how emotional ties to clothing are formed, what men think about fashion and what are the fashion gaps or bridges between different generations. The discussions will be led by Eha Komissarov<\/b>, Toomas Volkmann<\/b>, Lilli Jahilo<\/b>, T\u00f5nu Pedaru<\/b>, Kaidor Kahar<\/b>, and many others.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, May 11, there will be tours of fashion designers’ studios and a tour of the event’s main exhibition hall. In the workshops, you can try, for example, making fashion collages and jewelry, as well as refinishing old jeans or shirts. The festival’s programme is diverse and playful in the typical “I don’t understand” style.<\/p>\n
