The annual exhibition of the Estonian Association of Artists entitled \u201cSomewhere Over the Rainbow\u201d is an exceptionally cheerful and colourful exhibition, where well over a hundred members of the association present their latest works at the P\u00e4rnu Museum of New Art (MONA).<\/p>\n

Painter Jaan Elken<\/strong> selected the works for the annual painters’ exhibition. These include pieces from the likes of Uno Roosvalt<\/strong>, Evi Tihemets<\/strong>, and Tiiu Rebane<\/strong>. Starting this spring, MONA intends to present the works of contemporary artists as well those who lived a hundred years ago or more.<\/p>\n

As part of this the paintings of Estonian artist Lydia Nirk<\/strong>, who graduated from Pallas Art School in 1936, are also on display in the adjoining exhibition \u201cEstonia Yesterday and Today\u201d.<\/p>\n

The opening of both exhibitions was held at P\u00e4rnu Museum of New Art<\/span><\/a> (MONA) on Saturday, April 6, and they will remain on display until May 26. <\/p>\n
