After a break for winter, construction on the new tram line to Tallinn\u2019s harbour has begun again. Like last summer, the roadworks related to this will cause disruptions and delays to travel.<\/p>\n
Visit Tallinn<\/span><\/a> have published instructions that should be taken into account especially if you are travelling by car in the city. <\/p>\n \u2714<\/span>There are closed road sections near the port, for example at the intersection of P\u00f5hja puiestee, Sadama, and Ahtri streets. The road sections closed to car traffic are marked in red on the official website of the city of Tallinn here<\/span><\/a>. <\/p>\n \u2714<\/span>In the central city, Laikmaa, Hobujaama and Gonsiori streets will be completely or partially closed to car traffic.<\/p>\n \u2714<\/span> For navigation help, download the Waze app<\/span><\/a>, which shows up-to-date information about traffic jams and the locations of roadworks.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Visit Tallinn have also published instructions for pedestrians:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2714<\/span> Despite the roadworks, you can get everywhere on foot. Still, be prepared for detours and uneven ground when walking.<\/p>\n \u2714<\/span> Taxis and cars from ride-sharing services can be found in front of both ferry terminals in the port.<\/p>\n \u2714 <\/span>You can get from the port to the city centre from in front of the A-terminal (Ecker\u00f6 Line and Viking Line) with bus line 2 and from the D-terminal (Tallink) with bus lines 20 and 20A.<\/p>\n \u2714 <\/span>It is easy to move between the terminals via the footbridge that crosses the harbour.<\/p>\n \u2714 <\/span>All city tram lines (1\u20135) are in use. Please note, however, that line 4 does not go all the way to the airport for the time being.
