The opening film pays homage to the legendary Michelin-starred Danish restaurant Noma, which will soon close its doors in its current form. Tickets for the festival are now on sale.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;Noma and its founders <strong>Ren\u00e9 Redzepi<\/strong> and <strong>Claus Meyer<\/strong> have been invaluable pioneers in Nordic cuisine, and due to the imminent closure of the restaurant in its current form, we will pay homage to their decades of activity and contribution with the opening session of the Food Film Festival,&#8221; commented <strong>Taivi Koitla<\/strong>, the co-founder of the festival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">A total of seven documentaries covering inspiring stories from the world of food will be screened as part of the Food Film Festival, offering something for food lovers to industry experts. &#8220;Among other things, you can experience the move of the truly special restaurant Koks to Greenland in the movie &#8220;Restaurant on the edge of the world&#8221;, watch the internal workings of the world&#8217;s first prison restaurant in the movie &#8220;Welcome to Prison&#8221; and go on a journey through Ukraine in search of an authentic recipe for their national dish, in the movie &#8220;Bor\u0161. The secret ingredient,&#8221; added <strong>Helen Saluveer<\/strong>, the co-founder of the festival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The Food Film Festival, which is a unique format in the Nordic and Baltic countries, first took place back in 2019. This year\u2019s festival will take place from April 10 to 14 in S\u00f5prus cinema in Tallinn. A special screening will also take place at Elektriteater in Tartu.
