The event, which is part of Tartu\u2019s year as the European Capital of Culture, will take place at the <a href=\"https:\/\/balticguide.ee\/en\/?p=108351\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Estonian National Museum<\/span> <\/span><\/a>(ERM).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">For the<span class=\"s2\">&nbsp;<\/span>artistic director of <a href=\"https:\/\/balticguide.ee\/en\/?p=128770\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Tartu 2024<\/span><\/a>, <b>Kati Torp<\/b>, the film programme pays tribute to the people of Ukraine. \u201cUkrainians fight every day for both their freedom and the values of modern Europe. I wish that the films about Ukrainian breakthroughs screened in Tartu inspire Europeans to find more and more new ways to support an independent Ukraine that belongs to modern Europe,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The \u201cUkraine. Breakthrough Years\u201d programme contains 11 films that have been carefully selected by documentary film expert <b>Filipp Kruusvall<\/b>. The film selection aims to delve into the turning points that have shaped Ukraine into such a freedom-loving country over the past decades and to outline the intellectual journey from independence to the present day.
