The venues for the concerts include Mustpeade Maja (The House of the Blackheads), Tallinn Town Hall, and the Swedish St. Michael&#8217;s Church. 20 percent of the festival&#8217;s box office proceeds are also given directly to charity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The music foundation PLMF, founded by opera singer <strong>Pille Lill<\/strong>, has organised the Tallinn Winter Festival since 2006. This year top Estonian soloists will be heard along with T.O.S.C.A opera singing competition winner singer <b>Jessica Pantarotto<\/b> from Italy and Ukrainian and Spanish musicians. 20 percent of the proceeds of the festival will be directed to the &#8220;With Music for Ukraine&#8221; charity, which will use the funds raised to provide masterclasses for Ukrainian musicians.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The festival&#8217;s opening concert will be held today, February 13, at 3 pm in the Swedish St. Michael&#8217;s Church. The concert features music by <strong>Silvestrov<\/strong>, <strong>Barvinski<\/strong>, <strong>Rodin<\/strong>, <strong>Eller<\/strong>, and other composers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">This year&#8217;s festival will also reward a talented young musician with the &#8220;MUBA Talent 2024&#8221; award.
