The beginning of 2024 will get off to a bang with five film gala concerts taking place around the country, the first of which is tonight, January 12. The Vanamuine Symphony Orchestra will be joined by well-known singers and soloists for a repertoire of iconic songs from film and theatre, including classic pieces such as \u201cTomorrow Never Dies\u201d from James Bond<\/strong> and Hans Zimmer\u2019s<\/strong> title track from Gladiator.<\/p>\n

This evening, January 12, will see the first of five Film Gala concerts, which will take place in Tartu, P\u00f5lva, Paide, and Viljandi between now and the end of January.<\/p>\n

The concerts, which will be performed in two halves, will see the Vanamuine Symphony Orchestra joined by well-known Estonian singers such as Koit Toome<\/b> and Saara Pius<\/b>, as well as soloists, including Anna \u0160ulit\u0161enko<\/b> (oboe).<\/p>\n

At the concerts, you can expect to hear iconic songs such as \u201cNever Enough\u201d from The Greatest Showman and \u201cEye of the Tiger\u201d from Rocky. There will also be songs from Estonian movies as well as Disney classics.<\/p>\n
