In total, nearly 800 dancers from Tartu County are expected to perform in the hour-long fast-paced programme.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">As part of the extensive schedule of events as part of <a href=\"https:\/\/balticguide.ee\/en\/?p=126610\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Tartu\u2019s Christmas City<\/span><\/a>&nbsp;the Wintry Folk Dance Day is one of the liveliest. A staggering nearly 800 folk dancers in national dress are expected to take part in the hour-long dancing programme that has been created by <strong>Viivika Kook<\/strong>. The event in Tartu\u2019s town hall square, will begin at 1 pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">If an hour of dancing is not enough, the party atmosphere will head to P\u00fcssirohukelder&nbsp;(the Gunpowder Cellar in English) after, where there will be live music from <strong>Rasmus Kadaja<\/strong> on the Estonian accordion and garmon, along with <strong>Ott-Mait P\u00f5ldsepp<\/strong> on the acoustic guitar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">If all of that wasn\u2019t enough you can also visit to the Christmas market on K\u00fc\u00fcni street where you will find high-quality Estonian handicrafts, delicious festive foods as well as items from Latvia and Lithuania.
