This year, the J\u00f5hvi International Ballet Festival welcomes the Kharkiv State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Ukrainian national folk dance group Virsky. The program from November 15 to 19 includes spectacular folk dance, classical ballet, solo performances, and a ballet performance for children. The ballet festival is being organised for the 15th<\/sup> time this year.<\/p>\n Ukraine’s national folk dance group Virsky will open the festival, on November 15 in P\u00e4rnu. The performance by the national dance ensemble will be fast-paced and captivating. The group will perform the same show in Tallinn the following evening.<\/p>\n Virsky was founded by Pavlo Virsky<\/strong> and M\u00f5kola Bolotov<\/strong> in 1937. In the subsequent years, they have gone on to perform in more than 60 countries around the world.<\/p>\n On Friday, November 17, you can enjoy a performance of one of ballet\u2019s classic stories, Giselle, at J\u00f5hvi Concert Hall. The Kharkiv Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre will be the performers.<\/p>\n Giselle will be followed on Saturday, November 18, by a big ballet gala at the J\u00f5hvi Concert Hall. The gala will feature members of the Kharkiv State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, who will dance solos and group numbers on stage. On Sunday, there will be something for children. Namely, a performance of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.<\/p>\n
