ETDM\u2019s collections focus on Estonian art and design.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">At the moment, there are two new temporary shows \u201cUneversum: Rhythms and Spaces\u201d and \u201cWhite and Painted. Riga Porcelain from 1950s\u20141960s\u201d next to the permanent exhibitions open to the public.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The exhibition \u201cUneversum: Rhythms and Spaces\u201d studies time and space for sleep. \u201cThe exhibition explores the fascinating relationship between experimental ideas and the everyday as they interact with sleeping spaces, environments, and time and timekeeping,\u201d explains the exhibition\u2019s curator <strong>Sandra Nuut<\/strong>. One of the works displayed the installation \u201cCircadian Dreams\u201d (2019) by designer <b>Helga Schmid<\/b> allows visitors to tune into the rhythms of their bodies by feeling the effects of sound and light. The installation was created as a response to our current crisis of time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">In the \u201cWhite and Painted. Riga Porcelain from 1950s\u20131960s\u201d exhibition a selection of twenty tableware sets is on display. \u201cThe exhibition offers insight into what defines Riga porcelain, its design, as well as into the characteristic features of the era and how they have changed over time,\u201d describes <strong>Iliana Veinberga<\/strong>, the curator of the Riga Porcelain Museum. The exhibition is open until January 21, 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The installation \u201cArticulated Models\u201d by&nbsp;<strong>Ott Metusala<\/strong>&nbsp;in the museum\u2019s entrance and shop presents the designer\u2019s artistic research into <strong>Kirsti Metusala\u2019s<\/strong> work at Estoplast, a lighting factory in Soviet Estonia. The installation is on view through November 26.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The museum is open on Wednesdays from 11 am to 6 pm, on Thursdays from 11 am to 8 pm, and from Friday to Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm.
