{"id":124608,"date":"2023-10-19T11:47:53","date_gmt":"2023-10-19T08:47:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/balticguide.ee\/?p=124608"},"modified":"2023-10-19T11:47:54","modified_gmt":"2023-10-19T08:47:54","slug":"veronas-lovers-meet-again-on-stage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/balticguide.ee\/en\/veronas-lovers-meet-again-on-stage\/","title":{"rendered":"Verona&#8217;s lovers meet again on stage"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>William Shakespeare\u2019s<\/strong> Romeo and Juliet, perhaps the greatest love story ever told, is set to be performed as a ballet in four different cities in Estonia during the next week.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The beloved play Romeo and Juliet is about two young people who fall passionately in love, but whose families are blood enemies and forbid their love. During their short romance, the young people experience both love and death.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The colours gold and silver will dominate the ballet, symbolising not just the two rival families, but also the young couple who are deeply and purely in love with one another. <strong>Pyotr Tchaikovsky&#8217;s<\/strong> touching music will accompany the performance of Shakespeare\u2019s tragedy.
