In connection with the Nargen Festival, started by conductor T\u00f5nu Kaljuste<\/strong> and lasting all summer, there will also be 10 days of music dedicated to the world-famous Estonian composer Arvo P\u00e4rt<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/span>. <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n The opening concert of Arvo P\u00e4rt Days will be held in Tallinn’s Jaani kirik, where conductor T\u00f5nu Kaljuste will lead the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra. Finnish organist Aleksanteri Wallius<\/strong> will play the organ. The program includes P\u00e4rt’s Symphony No. 3 and Camille Saint-Sa\u00ebns’<\/strong> Symphony No. 3 in C minor, Op. 78, also known as the “Organ Symphony”.<\/p>\n In the Arvo P\u00e4rt Centre located in Laulasmaa, a concert entitled “Ja ma kuulsin h\u00e4\u00e4le” (\u201cAnd I Heard a Voice\u201d in English) will be held on September 9, where Arvo P\u00e4rt’s choral works sung by Vox Clamantis will be performed. Vox Clamantis will also perform in P\u00e4rnu, Viljandi and Tallinn.<\/p>\n Arvo P\u00e4rt’s music can also be enjoyed in the joint concerts of three Estonian master composers. The music of Erkki-Sven T\u00fc\u00fcr,<\/strong> Veljo Tormis<\/strong> and T\u00f5nu K\u00f5rvits<\/strong> is intertwined with P\u00e4rt’s tintinnabuli (Finnish style of movement) in ten different concerts led by Endrik \u00dcksv\u00e4rav<\/strong>, Rasmus Puur<\/strong> and T\u00f5nu K\u00f5rvits.<\/p>\n
