On July 11, P\u00e4rnu Music Festival will give concerts at the Arvo P\u00e4rt Center and Jaani Church in Tallinn. These concerts will be conducted by young people from the J\u00e4rvi Academy’s conducting course. This year’s J\u00e4rvi Academy young conductors from Estonia are Kasper Joel N\u00f5gene<\/strong>, Arp Eerik Reindla<\/strong> and Valle-Rasmus Roots<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Concertmaster Theodor Sink<\/strong> of the ERSO cello group will be a soloist, and 31 musicians from Estonia and abroad will play in the J\u00e4rvi Academy Sinfonietta. The program includes, among others, Arvo P\u00e4rt’s<\/strong> Mein Weg, Galina Grigorjeva’s<\/strong> Molitva and Mozart’s<\/strong> Paris Symphony.<\/p>\n \u201cJ\u00e4rvi Academy students have the opportunity to practice conducting under the guidance of Neeme J\u00e4rvi<\/strong>, Paavo J\u00e4rvi<\/strong>, Kristjan J\u00e4rvi<\/strong> and Leonid Grin<\/strong>. This year, 18 talented youngsters from a large number of applicants were chosen\u201d, said Helen Erastus<\/strong>, organiser of the J\u00e4rvi Academy’s conducting course.<\/p>\n Estonians Kasper Joel N\u00f5gene and Arp Eerik Reindla, who started conducting while studying in elementary school and high school, got into the J\u00e4rvi Academy’s conducting course this year. While Valle-Rasmus Roots, who often collaborates with top Estonian performers, returns to the J\u00e4rvi Academy this year.<\/p>\n The P\u00e4rnu Music Festival will take place on July 12-21, but will kick off already on July 11 with concerts in both Tallinn and at the Arvo P\u00e4rt Center in Laulusmaa. Although tickets for the concert at the Arvo P\u00e4rt Center are sold out, tickets are still available for the concert at Jaani Church in Tallinn here<\/span><\/a>. <\/p>\n
