{"id":113565,"date":"2022-12-16T12:50:02","date_gmt":"2022-12-16T10:50:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/balticguide.ee\/?p=113565"},"modified":"2022-12-16T12:50:02","modified_gmt":"2022-12-16T10:50:02","slug":"tallinn-to-donate-20-further-buses-to-ukraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/balticguide.ee\/en\/tallinn-to-donate-20-further-buses-to-ukraine\/","title":{"rendered":"Tallinn to donate 20 further buses to Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">On Wednesday, Tallinn city government decided to donate 20 buses to the <span class=\"s1\">Zhytomyr Oblast&nbsp;of Ukraine to help restore public services in the region.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;Tallinn has been supporting Ukrainian municipalities since the beginning of the war, and in addition to previous support, we are now donating 20 well-maintained buses to the local government of Zhytomyr Oblast,&#8221; said <strong>Mihhail K\u00f5lvart<\/strong>, mayor of Tallinn.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;A large part of the services provided by Ukrainian local authorities, such as public transport, utilities and education, have been affected by the war, and we are therefore trying to send additional aid to support these areas,&#8221; added K\u00f5lvart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s1\">The latest donation comes in addition to 11 buses that set off for Ukraine last Friday, along with generators and other power equipment.
