Before the pandemic, in 2019, this figure was almost 4 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cLast year&#8217;s cinema attendance was the lowest in the past 16 years. It was followed by&nbsp;<i>Fast &amp; Furious 9,<\/i>&nbsp;and the science fiction film&nbsp;<i>Dune<\/i>, based on the novel by Frank Herbert, with 56,555 and 53,545 admissions respectively.
