Tallinn Music Week 2026—Bigger and Better Than Ever

Tallinn Music Week 2026 is this coming week, 9–12 April, in Tallinn of course. This annual international festival has been held every spring since 2009, and has become one of the most important music and creative industry events in the Nordic and Baltic regions. This year’s festival will showcase tons of artists and concerts, a conference, and a city-wide cultural programme that visitors from near and abroad will love.

The Music Festival, which is clearly the main driving force of the festival overall, starts on Thursday, 9 April, and runs until late Saturday night, 11 April. Over 180 artists from around 40 countries will perform in multiple venues located around the city, including 80 local artists. Concert halls, clubs, cultural venues—if you can have a concert there, there will be a concert there.

The conference will take place on Friday and Saturday at the Nordic Hotel Forum, which is right in the heart of the city. The conference will include panel discussions, workshops, presentations, and networking sessions. Topics to be discussed are key issues facing the modern music industry, such as AI, the role of music in shaping cities and societies, artistic freedom, and the development of the global touring and festival markets.

Tallinn Music Week’s City Festival takes place throughout the city on all four days. There will be a massive selection of art exhibitions, food events, urban exploration, and family-oriented activities so everyone is included.

Tallinn Music Week 2026 is a multi-dimensional festival that combines live music, professional exchange, and urban cultural experiences over the course of four days early this April. With a diverse international lineup, a forward-looking conference, and a broad public cultural programme, TMW continues to play a significant role in Estonia’s cultural life, and is becoming ever more important for the greater European music scene.
