Soviet Estonian Fashion

Tallinn KUMU Art Museum fashion Estonia Western fashion
The KUMU Art Museum is currently displaying an exhibition on fashion in Soviet Estonia during the 1950s and 1960s with Western fashion from the same period on display to compare. Estonia was cut off from the West in the 1950s. The 1960s were somewhat more liberal, with outside influences, especially from Finland. The Tallinn Fashion House inspired women from all over the Soviet Union and became the most popular of its kind.
KUMU Art Museum, Tallinn Map Code B4 On display from 14 October – 20 January
