Pop music icon Zucchero to perform in Tallinn in April

Italian pop music icon Zucchero will perform in Tallinn on April 13 as part of his world tour, Overdose D’amore. Concertgoers will be treated to the rough-voiced and charismatic singer’s best-known hits.

Zucchero’s career spans more than fifty years, first becoming popular in Italy in the 1970s. Over the past five decades, he has collaborated with artists such as Eric Clapton, Miles Davis, and the late Luciano Pavarotti.

At the concert in Tallinn in April, the legendary musician will perform classic hits such as “Oro incenso & birra”, “Miserere”, “Spirito DiVino” and “Black Cat”.

“Senza una donna”, which the Italian star sings together with Paul Young is perhaps his biggest international hit. The song was born during a difficult divorce process when Zucchero was getting used to life as a single man. Despite the longing lyrics and melody of the song, the man in the story finally seems to overcome his pain and even learns to cook.

Tickets for the concert can be bought at Piletilevi.
