This Friday, October 14, popular British band Placebo will perform at Saku Suurhall in Tallinn. The band, which shot to fame in 1997 with the release of their track ‘Nancy Boy’, last performed in Estonia 7 years ago.
British rock band Placebo was formed by Brian Molko, Stefan Osdal and Robert Schultzberg back in 1994. In 1996, the band recorded their debut album ‘Placebo’. The release of the single ‘Nancy Boy’ from that album propelled the band to mainstream success.
Since then, although Schultzberg left the band early in their existence, Molko and Osdal have been ever present as the band have gone on to release 7 studio albums, and made countless tours. To date, Placebo have sold more than 13 million albums worldwide.
The band’s songs, including iconic and popular tracks such as ‘Every You Every Me’ and ‘The Bitter End’ have inspired bands like ‘My Chemical Romance’ and ‘Panic! at the Disco’.
Tickets for the concert are still available and can be purchased from the Piletilevi ticketing portal here.
