Melt into the joy of Viennese music

The internationally acclaimed Vienna Strauss Festival Orchestra will perform two concerts in Estonia over the next two nights. In Tartu this evening (December 19), and in Tallinn tomorrow (December 20).

The orchestra, which is led by renowned conductor Peter Guth, is known for its original interpretations of Viennese music. Beyond their loyalty to tradition and the authentic Viennese sound, the orchestra’s distinctive charm and joy elevate performances to the highest artistic level.

Humor and fun seamlessly blend with artistic depth during their concerts. Having graced iconic stages worldwide, from Cologne to Tokyo, the orchestra enjoys international acclaim, particularly captivating audiences in Japan, China, and South Korea. Notably, their New Year concerts in Vienna since 2000 have become a cherished tradition, marking a grand finale to the musical year.

In the spirit of the group, which was founded back in 1978, the musicians come from the largest orchestras in Vienna.

Tickets for tonight’s concert (December 19) at the Vanamuise Concert Hall in Tartu are still available at Piletilevi. The Tallinn concert is sold out.
