Detroit music legend Jeff Mills will perform in Tallinn on November 30, with his jazz and Afrofuturism project Tomorrow Comes The Harvest. Originally set for Alexela Concert Hall, the concert has been relocated to Salme Cultural Centre, in the Kalamaja district of Tallinn on November 30.
Born out of Mills’ collaboration with Afrobeat pioneer Tony Allen and keyboardist Jean-Phi Dary, Tomorrow Comes The Harvest explore jazz and improvisation. Following Allen’s passing, the project continues with tabla virtuoso Prabhu Edouard. The current tour has already graced major international venues, including London’s Barbican Centre, Cologne Philharmonic, and the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
Joining Mills on stage as a special guest will be Estonian musician Maarja Nuut, accompanied by Swiss drummer Nicolas Stocker, whose performance will explore rhythm and music as timeless, spontaneous experiences.
Tickets for the concert are still available at the time of writing from Piletilevi, and existing ticket holders for the original venue will receive new tickets.
