The repertoire includes Gregorian chant, medieval hymns, motets and renaissance music. Constant renewal is on the agenda, however the identity of Hortus Musicus is clearly recognisable. Over 35 recordings have been made. In recent years contemporary Estonian composers, such as Arvo Pärt, have been added.
