26.04.2024–30.04.2026 The Magical Realism of Kopli exhibition, Kalamaja Museum, Tallinn

“The Magical Realism of Kopli” is part of a series of locally curated exhibitions revealing the peculiarities of the Kopli district through people’s lived experiences in the past and present.

 

26.10–03.11 Pärnu Restaurant Week, Pärnu

This year celebrates the tenth edition of the popular event, with 34 restaurants offering special three-course menus priced between 29 and 39 euros. Alongside the food, visitors can also enjoy a range of live entertainment.

 

28.10 World Of Hans Zimmer – A New Dimension, Unibet Arena, Tallinn

“World of Hans Zimmer – A New Dimension” brings the musical masterpieces of the world’s most-awarded film composer Hans Zimmer to Estonia. The concert will feature more than 100 musicians, including a choir, orchestra and band. Video projections on the walls of the stage will show moments from the films that have used Zimmer’s music.

 

01–02.11 AHHAA Robobattle 2024, Lange Motocentre, Tartu

AHHAA Robobattle kicks off with a student competition featuring 24 schools, followed by a professional battle, where 24 expert teams will unleash their weaponized robots in a fierce arena showdown. A total of 48 robots will compete for a 12,000 euro prize fund.

 

01–03.11 Board Game Hackathon, Aparaaditehas, Tartu

The Board Game Hackathon offers young board game enthusiasts the opportunity to play and design new board games together. The three day event includes prototyping sessions and creative workshops, with overnight stays at Tartu Lille Youth Centre. It is open to participants aged 14 and up, and includes breakfast and lunch.

 

01–07.11 Tallinn Restaurant Week, Tallinn

Tallinn Restaurant Week, held twice a year, offers the chance to enjoy set menus for lunch (15 or 20 euros) and dinner (25 or 40 euros) at top restaurants in the city. These menus, inspired by their à la carte selection, highlight the unique style of each restaurant and use fresh, local ingredients wherever possible. Advance booking is required.

 

01.11–30.11 Taste Adventure of Ida-Viru, Ida-Viru

The Taste Adventure takes place throughout November across Ida-Virumaa, and features various restaurants in the region. During the event, guests can enjoy including themed dinners and special events.

 

01–17.11 From Forest to Table, Across South Estonia

“From Forest to Table” is taking place for the fifth time this year, featuring South Estonian restaurants that will offer special menus offering wild and local flavours. Each dish will incorporate at least one Estonian forest ingredient and primarily use local produce.

 

02.11.2024–02.03.2025 Ryoji Ikeda’s solo exhibition, Estonian National Museum, Tartu

The Estonian National Museum will host a major installation by world-renowned Japanese artist Ryoji Ikeda. The exhibition combines scientific data from the University of Tartu’s Institute of Genomics with performances by the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir. It features two new works created specifically for Tartu, including an audiovisual installation using Estonian DNA and Ikeda’s first sound piece incorporating the human voice, along with his acclaimed data-verse installation.

 

3.11 Tallinn Museum Sunday, Tallinn

Museum Sunday in Tallinn occurs on the first Sunday of each month, offering free entrance to city-owned museums such as Tallinn City Life Museum, Kiek in de Kök, and Kalamaja Museum. Pre-registration online is required due to the event’s popularity.
