This evening, February 2, young musicians will perform a concert at Rõuge Cultural Centre. The concert is a culmination of the Winter Ethno Camp, where musicians from around the world come together to teach each other the musical traditions and songs of their homelands.
Winter Ethno Estonia, which is celebrating its 5th birthday this year, is a music camp for young musicians aged between 16 and 30. Where traditional music from different countries is learned by ear in workshops led by experienced musicians. The culmination of the camp being a public concert in Rõuge, in Võrumaa, this evening, starting at 7 pm.
Due to the small nature of the camp, with just 25 participants, music is not all that is on offer this evening. After the concert, there will be a dance club where it is possible to learn traditional dances from different cultures.
Tickets for the evening, which are available at Piletikeskus, are priced at 7.90 for adults and 5.90 for concessions.
