Mack Bar-B-Que offers everything from ribs to hamburgers.

As soon as you enter, you know right way what kind of restau- rant this is. Glowing advertisements hang from behind the bar. Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix songs play in the background. And sports play on large TVs.

The menu screams America: Mack Bar-B-Que offers pizzas, hamburgers, ribs, chicken wings, and for dessert you can choose cheesecakes or ice cream cocktails. There is even a separate children’s menu. There are close to 30 different beers to choose from, from all over the world.

We decided to order hamburgers, because we were in an American restaurant after all. The house burger, Original Mack BBQ (€13) was a huge cheeseburger with both beef and BBQ meat. It was served with crispy fries and mouth-watering coleslaw. The price quality ratio is fantastic at Mack BBQ. On that particular day, they also had Coronas on offer for €2.50.

Take trams 2 or 4 to get there from the city centre. It is about 20 minutes by foot.
