Sunshine and Summer Travel Plans
One thing that I absolutely love about Estonia is the seasons. Why? Because it really makes you appreciate when summer finally arrives after a long cold and dark winter. Summer in Estonia means long days, outdoor concerts and festivals, fresh local produce, and enjoying the sunshine on an outdoor terrace.
In April the patios were set up in Tallinn’s Town Hall Square. With the sunny days we had, seats were already filled with tourists and locals soaking up the sun’s rays. Cruise ship season has also begun and every day, day-trippers from Scandinavian cruises fill the streets of Tallinn’s Old Town. It’s great to see the city coming to life again!Another sign of summer is The Baltic Guide’s summer travel issue, which you will find the middle of this paper. It covers all of the must-see sights of Estonia, from eastern Estonia and Narva to western Estonia, Haapsalu, Pärnu, and the Islands. We tell you what to see and do, as well as how to get there. Not sure where to go? Why not plan your trip around one of the many festivals or concerts happening throughout Estonia. There is sure to be something for every taste and to suit every budget.
Happy travels!
